Eguono Emo’urhobo Union Celebrates End of Year Party, Honours Asiuwhu with Philanthropy Award

This afternoon, 15th of December 2024, the Eguono Emo`Urhobo Union, hosted its end of year party at the Otovwodo Primary School, Ughelli.

In an opening address, The President General of the union, Omiragwa Oderhohwo Akpomiemie Joshua, he said that the union’s paramount focus is to promote cultural heritage by imbibing the principles and ethics which our forefathers laid down for us as a nation.

In addition, he declared the union’s stance against youths lack of respect for elders in Urhobo, urging all sons and daughters of Urhobo Nation to cultivate the spirit of oneness and lifting one another.

The colorful ceremony has in attendance notable Urhobo Sons & Daughters from all walks of life.

Remarkably, was award 5of honor to sons and daughters of Urhobo for distinguishing themselves in the promotion of Urhobo cultural heritage and in philanthropy.
