DEMOCRACY DAY: Renewed Hope Ambassador Coordinator Kwode, Calls for Unity and National Development.

The Coordinator of Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, Deacon Matthew Kwode has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of the 2026 Democracy Day celebration, urging citizens to remain committed to the ideals of democracy, national unity, and sustainable development.

In a Democracy Day message released on Thursday, Deacon Kwode described June 12 as a significant day in Nigeria’s democratic journey, noting that it symbolizes the power of the people and their collective responsibility to build a stronger and more prosperous nation.

He called on Nigerians from all walks of life to continue believing in the country’s future and to work together towards achieving a brighter tomorrow for all citizens.

According to him, Democracy Day serves as a reminder of the nation’s strength in diversity and the immense potential of the Nigerian people to drive positive change and national transformation.

“Today, we celebrate not just a date on the calendar, but the resilient spirit of Nigerians everywhere. May our democracy continue to mature, bringing progress, unity, and equity to all corners of the country,” he stated.

The Renewed Hope Ambassador Coordinator also urged citizens to uphold the values of freedom, justice, equality, and peaceful coexistence, stressing that these principles remain fundamental to the growth and stability of the nation.

Deacon Kwode further paid tribute to the sacrifices of Nigeria’s founding heroes and democratic champions whose efforts paved the way for the democratic freedoms enjoyed today.

He expressed optimism that with collective commitment, patriotism, and support for good governance, Nigeria would continue to make meaningful progress in its quest for national development.
