Ukodhiko felicitates ex-Delta First Lady, Edith Okowa at 63

Member representing Isoko North/South Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko has congratulated wife of the immediate past Governor of Delta State and Founder of ‘05 Initiatives’ Foundation, Dame Edith Okowa, as she clocks 63.
Hon. Ukodhiko in a statement on Saturday, in Erawha-Owhe, said, lauded immediate the past Delta First Lady for her continued philanthropy despite her exit from office one year ago, saying, “she remains a loving mother, kindhearted woman, and earnest counselor.”
According the House of Representatives member, “Her Excellency, Evangelist Edith Okowa through her well-thought out 05 initiative pet project stood out resplendently amongst other First Ladies in the Federation.
“Her Excellency continues to contribute to the promotion of good healthcare and economic empowerment of women in the State through her now “05 Initiatives’ Foundation.
“Her Excellency, Dame Edith Okowa is selfless, affable, calm and ever patient with a listening ear, whose charitable personality precedes her.
“Yes, when she was First Lady of the State, many found succor and got inspiration from her germane advices and wise counsels, and she was supportive of worthy causes that positively uplifted humanity.
“And we in Isoko North/South Federal Constituency, acknowledge and appreciate the philanthropic works of Dame Okowa, and we joyfully celebrate her for generous disposition, magnanimity and love for the people of Isoko-nation.
“It is with great joy for me and my wife, Ivie, on behalf of the good people of Isokonation, celebrate a woman of remarkable excellence, Her Excellency, Dame Edith Okowa, immediate past Delta State First Lady on her 63rd birth anniversary, wishing her good health in her continued service to humanity.” Hon.
