DESOPADEC Commissioner, Ovbije Empowers The People of Orogun PDP Ward 1 With Cash

As part of the efforts to complimemt the MORE agenda of Delta State Governor Rt. (Hon.), Sheriff Oborevwori in cushioning the effect of the Economic challenges, Hon. Sylvester Ovbije who is representing the people of Ughelli North, Ethiope East and Urhobos in Patani LGA, on the board of DESOPADEC, has today put smile on the faces of the people of Orogun PDP Ward 1 with cash empowerment worth millions of Naira in grant style.

The DESOPADEC commissioner who said during the event while speaking to newsmen that the primary purpose of the initiative was to help to contribute to the development of Delta State through the MORE agenda of the State Governor posited that,

“Today l am here to put smile in your faces through this empowerment initiative to ensure that you people also benefit the dividends of democracy at the grassroots level, and this is coming from the government of PDP, and not other political part, you have to use it to work for the growth and development of PDP at the ward level”

Speaking further, Hon. Ovbije called on the beneficiaries to ensure proper use of the gesture at all times using this medium to call on those faithful members of the PDP in the ward to remain calm and as well committed to the party assuring them that the next turn will be theirs.

On their part, the acting Chairman of PDP Orogun Ward 1, Mr. Ambrose Mgboyebi, Chief Williams Owhebor, the special Assistant to the honourable commissioner on political and communication including other leaders of the party at ward, hailed the DESOPADEC commissioner over the initiative, according to them.

Hon. Sylvester Ovbije has extremily done well for the people of his mandate areas and he is ready to ensure that his people would continue to ripe the dividends of democracy, calling on other political appointees especially in Orogun kingdom to tow the line of Hon. Sylvester Ovbije so as to improve the welfare of the people and to ensure that the party PDP grow from strenght to strenght in the ward.

Therefore, some.of the beneficiaries who spoke to newsmen commended the DESOPADEC commissioner over the gesture saying that they will continue to work for the growth of PDP and support Governor Sheriff Oborevwori led PDP administration.
