The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Udu Chapter, Comr. Johnbull Gbejegbe (JP), has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Chief Jite Brown (JP), the Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Udu Teachers, and others for their unwavering support as he marks his two years tenure in office today Thursday 16/11/23. Comrade Gbejegbe pledged continued collaboration with the government for the betterment of Udu Teachers. He lauded Hon. Jite for implementing the full minimum wage for primary school teachers in Delta and providing an official vehicle to the NUT branch Chairman, making him the first Council chairman to do so. He described Hon. Jite as a charismatic, visionary leader,as he equally appealed to him to settle primary school teachers’ arrears before leaving office next year.
Speaking further he also extended his appreciation to Udu Teachers, Udu LEA Secretary Comrade Eķi Afuevure, Udu’s Head of Personnel Management (HPM), NUT State Chairman Comrade Titus Okotie, Udu Principals, Head Teachers, and his Co-Excos. He prayed for God’s abundant blessings on these individuals whose support played a crucial role in the success of his administration.
It’s worth noting that Comrade Gbejegbe joyfully took charge of Udu Teachers’ affairs on this same day two years ago.
