2023: We ‘II Queue Behind Onyeme, Group Declare

The Market Women and Men Association of Nigeria, Delta State Branch has declared their total support for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State. They made this known when their executives visited Sir Monday Onyeme yesterday in Asaba.

Speaking during the visit, the President of Market Women and Men Association of Nigeria,  Delta State Chapter  Hon. Mrs kate Onah described Onyeme as a king that deserves to be honoured, adding that Onyeme’s love and commitment in advancing the lives of the People is second to none.

While highlighting Onyeme’s numerous support for Market Women and Men Association of Nigeria, which earned him the position of Grand Patron of the Association,  declared their unalloyed loyalty and support for the Sheriff/Onyeme ticket and other Candidates of the People’s Democratic Party PDP.

Mrs Onah went on to say that, “You opened your heart to support us and we have come to tell you, anywhere you go,  we will follow. You have our support and we will equally support all the PDP Candidates”

In his response, the  Deputy Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme  thanked the Market Women and Men Association of Nigeria  for the honour, Solidarity, respect and for been a core supporter of the People’s Democratic Party PDP.

He emphasised the needs for Nigerians to work for the collective efforts of all. He adding that in the course of building a society,  it’s difficult for all to agree to do one particular good thing just because of self Interest.

According to Onyeme, for the very first time,  Delta State will have a Vice President, adding that with Gov Okowa as Vice President, New things will begin to happen in the state. He stated that the state will witness tremendous growth due to Federal Presence. 

“With Gov Okowa as the Vice President of the Country,  a lot of Deltans will benefit from appointments and jobs at the Federal level more than before. We should support Alhaji Atiku Abubakar/Governor Ifeanyi Okowa presidency, because we have everything to gain. 

He maintained  that Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori is a man that understands the Infrastructural development needs of the State, adding that Oborevwori has demonstrated readiness to consolidate on the gains of the Okowa led administration as well as to do more for Deltans in line with the M.O.R.E Agenda.

He urged the Market Women and Men Association of Nigeria to vote for all the PDP Candidates and to preach the gospel of PDP to their families, friends and all and sundry.
