…Says Delta PDP Governorship Candidate, Oborevwori is eminently qualified.

Chairman of the Delta State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Barr Kingsley Esiso has assured Nigerians that the former Vice President and Presidential candidate of PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, is prepared and ready to return the country to the path of economic recovery, growth and sustainable development.

Esiso gave the assurance while speaking at the ongoing 4th edition of Delta State Communication Workshop, DELCOM, in Asaba, organised by the Office of the Executive Assistant to Delta State Governor on Communications.

He said Nigeria is in a state of comatose wherein insecurity has been heightened to a frightening proportion as Nigerians can no longer freely travel by roads for fear of being kidnapped and killed or pay ransome for freedom, adding that the APC national government failed woefully to fulfill her electuoneering campaign promises.

Esiso further noted that the power sector is worse for it as darkness pervades the entire country, industries relocating on a daily basis to other West African countries, while the Naira currency depreciated consistently to the pitiable extent that one United States Dollar now exchanges for N710 or more as against N120 to the U.S. dollar in 2015.

In the same vein, he urged the political detractors of Delta PDP governorship candidate, Rt Hon Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor, to join hands with the party to win the governorship elections in 2023, pointing out that Oborevwori is academically, intellectually and morally sound, qualified, fit and proper to be the governor of Delta State.

The state party chairman further posited that the candidate’s superlative leadership qualities are multifaceted which was why he could efficiently manage the affairs of the State House of Assembly for five solid years as the Speaker, and counting, topping the list as the longest serving Speaker since the creation of Delta State.

Esiso noted that Oborevwori’s academic certificates have been verified to be genuine, perfect and without blemish whatsoever. He urged all former governorship aspirants of Delta PDP to collapse their political structures into the State Campaign Council to be inaugurated soon.

He urged DELCOM participants to open up their minds so as to be able to interrogate national issues and craft news and articles that would tell the true story about Nigeria current predicaments; adding that there is urgent need for comparative analysis of previous administrations and the Buhari administration as a credible way of checkmating APC national government propaganda in the media space.

Esiso also took a swipe at the former governor of Anambra State and Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Mr Peter Obi, saying that he could not establish one major legacy project during his eight years tenure as state.governor, pointing out that Obi’s abysmal performance will work against him in the ongoing presidential electioneering processes.

“I welcome all participants to the 4th edition of DELCOM, one of the essential human caoacity development programmes of this administration under our amiable leader, governor and PDP Vice Presidential candidate, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.

“The THEME “Crisis Communication Strategies and Management In Political Power Transition,” is timely and commendable. It is very important, therefore, for you to effectively and efficiently deploy knowledge and skills acquired to report facts and accurate figures about the multifaceted issues bedeviling Nigeria, as well as the monumental developments that has occurred in Delta State under Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.

“It is obvious that the national government of the APC cannot deliver on electioneering peomises in all sectors, including insecurity, education, power and the economy. The facts are there, google them, carryout researches and do justice to facts at your disposal, but do not allow your personal emotions to becloud your sense of judgment while carrying out your assigned responsibilities. You must be patriotic, proactive and professional at all times.

“PDP Presidential candidate and his vice, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, are obviously the best combinations in the presidential race and the facts are there in public domain.

“APC members and their leaders are unable to identity with the abysmal performance of their national government under President Mohammafu Buhsri, and have resorted to media propaganda, obnoxious laws against social media to curtail the shame of their many failures and bad governance. Gather these facts and professionally articulate them.

“Peter Obi was governor of Anambra State for eight years without deeming it necessary to execute, at least, one legacy project. He keep monies in the banks while infrastructure decay and poverty pervades Anambra State under his watch.

“The youth of Anambra were jobless and frustrated during Obi administration. It will be very unpatriotic to have such individual preside over the affairs of Nigeria at this critical time of our nation’s economic disaster occasioned by the misrule of APC national government under President Buhari.

“Atiku Abubakar is obviously the best man for the job of President at this time. His manifesto titled; ‘My Covenant With Nigerians” clearly l explains the new pathways to national economy recovery, sustainable growth, development and security of lives and properly.

“I am sure the Chief Coordinator of DELCOM, Dr Barr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe will provide soft copies of Atiku’s manifesto, study and do justice to it,’ God bless Delta State, God bless Nigeria,’ Esiso added.
