PDP STALWART, GORDONS DISMISSES RUMORS OF HIS DEFECTION TO ANOTHER PARTY

Olorogun Dr. Samson Gordons Okomitie JP, a People’s Democratic Party chieftain has debunked reports of his alleged plan to dump the Peoples Democratic Party for another political party to actualize his 2023 House of Assembly bid.

Reacting, Olorogun Gordons in a statement issued to newsmen in Asaba today, the state capital, said it is true that his supporters came to him at his residence in their large numbers a few days ago to encourage him to actualize his ambition from any Political party of his choice and he told them and the general public that they will hear from him on his stand in a few days.

Today is that few days, especially on the arrival of our Nigeria next Vice President,my boss, Sen. Dr. Arthur Okowa from Abuja to Delta State.

I am telling you categorically that i am going nowhere as i remain firmly with my party, PDP as Deltans gathered together to welcome H.E Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa. He maintained that he’s not leaving the party despite losing its State House of Assembly ticket for Ughelli South at the concluded party primaries held across the state.

The White Lion as he is popularly called in his statement said, I’m using this opportunity to inform the general public that I remain a committed and bonafide member of the party.

I have not defected to any party and I do not intend to leave the PDP.

He commended his teeming supporters across the electoral wards of Ughelli South, family, friends and well wishers for their immense support to him before and during the concluded House of Assembly Primary Election…

He called on all Deltans to support his father and political leader, H.E Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa come 2023.. adding that this is a great opportunity and mandate for a Deltan to occupy the position of the Vice President of Nigeria….
