2027: FOOG Women Deploy Grassroots Strategy for Tinubu, Oborevwori

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the FOOG Women Support Group (FWSG) has commenced a grassroots mobilisation drive aimed at canvassing support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

The group has adopted a door-to-door campaign strategy which it said would enable its members to reach voters directly and engage them on the political issues and developmental programmes being promoted by the organisation.

The Director-General of the FOOG Women Support Group for Tinubu, Chief (Mrs.) Esther Ori Okotie-Eboh, the Iye of Warri Kingdom, said the initiative was part of the group’s preparations for the 2027 elections.

She explained that the group would use the door-to-door approach to establish direct communication with residents, particularly at the grassroots, rather than relying solely on conventional campaign rallies and public gatherings.

Okotie-Eboh said the organisation intended to adopt a strategy similar to the door-to-door evangelism associated with the Jehovah’s Witnesses, taking its campaign message to households and communities across Delta State.

She said the campaign would cover the three senatorial districts of the state, where members would engage residents and canvass support for the re-election of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori.

According to her, the leader and sponsor of the FOOG Women Support Group, Mr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe that no stone should be left unturned while embarking on the Door-To-Door Campaign for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

She stated that plans had been mapped out to mobilise women and female residents aged 18 years and above across Delta State and beyond, with the group expecting them to play an active role in its grassroots campaign.

The FOOG leader urged Nigerians and Deltans to support the administrations of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori, adding that the group would sustain its mobilisation and community-to-community engagement as the 2027 elections draw closer.
