UNDER TWO YEARS, YOU HAVE MADE SIGNIFICANT IMPACT, KPOMAH ASSERTS

A frontline political stalwart and community leader in Udu Kingdom, Mr. Austin Kpomah has applauded the developmental strides of the Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Area in the last two years, urging the people to keep supporting his administration and buying into the repositioning efforts in the years ahead.

In a statement personally signed and made public to the media in his Otor-Udu residence, Mr. Kpomah particularly commended Olorogun Oyibode and his administration for embarking on demand-driven and people-friendly projects, initiatives and human capital development engagements.

He underscored his astute diplomatic overtures to maintain and sustain peace amongst communities.

“There is no gainsaying the fact that peace has remained a pivotal factor helping to catalyse development in any environment and the Oyibode-led administration has placed high premium to walk the talk in ensuring that communities with lingering disputes are encouraged to come to the round table for amicable and peaceful resolution,” Kpomah reasoned.

In the last two years, according to the Udu Kingdom stalwart, Olorogun Oyibode has effectively initiated and coordinated timely stakeholders interface, comprising political leaders, traditional institutions and other interest groups in order to bring everyone on the same page and accelerate the needed development of the Council Area.

Speaking further, Mr. Austin Kpomah referenced the very cordial relationship between the Council Area and the State Government that has culminated in the recent award of road projects worth over N32 billion dedicated to Udu Local Government Area. This, according to him, is the outcome of a new paradigm of progressive engagement initiated by Olorogun Vincent Oyibode.

In the aspect of infrastructural development, Mr. Kpomah identified sundry interventions in the education, housing, health and community engagement sub-sectors. All these interventions evidence a dynamic leadership that is intentional and focused on development premised on the Renewed Hope for M. O. R. E agenda.

Mr. Kpomah used the opportunity to appreciate His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of the State for his robust disposition and accessibility toward changing the development template of the fast rising Council Area within the State.

It will be recalled that Olorogun Vincent Oyibode took over the baton of leadership in 2024 after his victorious emergence in the local government elections in the State.
