Udu APC Chairman Siloko Applauds APC Media Team During 21-Day Project Showcasing Tour

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Udu Local Government Area, Hon. Evangelist David Siloko has commended members of the Udu APC Media Team for their dedication and commitment to projecting the image and activities of the party across the local government area.

Hon. Siloko gave the commendation today Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at his residence in Ubogo when members of the Udu APC Media Team led by its Acting Coordinator, Comrade Felix Okovwurie paid him a familiarization visit as part of the team’s ongoing 21-Day Media Tour and Project Showcasing Initiative across Udu Kingdom.

Speaking during the visit, the APC Chairman described the role of the social media and media team as critical to the growth and success of the party, noting that effective communication remains a vital tool for political mobilization and public engagement.

“The role of the Social Media Group is very important because it helps to project the image of our party and communicate our activities to the public. I appreciate the team’s commitment and dedication to the party,” Siloko stated.

He urged party members to remain focused, loyal, and committed to promoting the achievements and programmes of the APC at all levels.

“As members of the party, we must be serious and committed. We should always promote the good image of our party. When positive things happen, we must publicize them just as others do. We should not allow our achievements to go unnoticed,” he said.

According to him, elections are won through grassroots mobilization and strategic communication, stressing the need for party faithful to continually inform the public about the developmental strides of APC leaders and governments.

“We must continue to tell people about the good works being done by our leaders and by the government. We must avoid spreading negative stories about our own party because that only weakens our chances during elections,” he added.

Hon. Siloko further emphasized the importance of accessibility and people-oriented leadership, urging elected and appointed officials in Udu to remain connected to the grassroots and continue delivering democratic dividends to the people.

“Our leaders in Udu at all levels should remain accessible to the people and continue to work for development. As party members, we also have a responsibility to defend the party, promote its achievements, and encourage others to support its vision,” he said.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the Acting Coordinator of the Udu APC Media Team, Ambassador Felix Okovwurie, thanked the party chairman for the warm reception accorded the team.

He described Hon. Siloko as a straightforward and pragmatic leader whose leadership style has significantly contributed to fostering unity and harmony within the party in Udu Local Government Area.

Okovwurie assured the chairman of the media team’s continued commitment to promoting the activities, programmes, and achievements of the APC across the kingdom.

He further pledged that the team would continue to leverage the media as a veritable tool for public enlightenment, community development, and the promotion of peace, unity, and progress throughout Udu Kingdom.

The visit formed part of the Udu APC Media Team’s ongoing 21-Day Media Tour and Project Showcasing Initiative aimed at strengthening engagement with party stakeholders and highlighting the achievements of APC leaders across the kingdom.
