2027: Dredgers And Equipment Forum Mobilizes Support for Oborevwori
By Henry Ubus.
The Delta State Dredgers and Equipment Political Forum has applauded the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for what it described as his remarkable strides in infrastructural development across the state.
The commendation was made by the Chairman of the Forum, Dr. Alex Kuri, who spoke recently on behalf of members of the group. He noted that the governor has demonstrated a strong commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises, particularly in the area of road construction, urban renewal, and rural development.
Dr. Kuri stated that the impact of the governor’s MORE Agenda is evident across various communities, stressing that ongoing and completed projects are clear indicators of purposeful leadership and effective governance.
According to him, “Governor Oborevwori has shown that leadership is about keeping faith with the people. From the urban centres to the rural areas, the evidence of development is visible. The MORE Agenda is not just a slogan but a practical roadmap that is transforming Delta State.”
He further emphasized that the forum, comprising key stakeholders in the dredging and equipment sector, is impressed by the administration’s infrastructural push, which he said has also created an enabling environment for business growth and investment.
Dr. Kuri disclosed that, in recognition of the governor’s performance, the forum has resolved to mobilize support for his re-election in 2027. He assured that members would work tirelessly to ensure continuity of the current administration’s developmental strides.
“The Delta State Dredgers and Equipment Political Forum will work vigorously to ensure the re-election of Governor Oborevwori in 2027. We believe that sustaining this momentum is crucial for the continued progress of our dear state,” he added.
The forum therefore called on Deltans to continue supporting the administration, noting that collective effort is essential for achieving long-term development goals and consolidating the gains already recorded.
