Leadership Newspapers Award: Oyibode Celebrates Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda Success

The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Olorogun(Hon.) Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode, has congratulated Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State on his emergence as Governor of the Year 2025 by Leadership Newspapers Limited.

Governor Oborevwori received the prestigious award on Thursday in recognition of his outstanding contributions to infrastructure development and inclusive governance across Delta State.

Reacting to the honour, Oyibode said he was not surprised by the governor’s recognition, noting that the award was a clear testament to the remarkable developmental strides recorded under the administration’s MORE Agenda. He expressed confidence that the governor would continue to attract more national and international accolades due to his people-oriented leadership style.

The award was presented during the 18th Leadership Annual Conference and Awards held at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja.

Governor Oborevwori was represented at the ceremony by his Deputy, Monday Onyeme. The conference featured the theme: “Political Stability and Sustainable Development in Africa in an Increasingly Unstable Global System: A Roadmap for Nigeria.”

According to Leadership Newspapers, the governor earned the honour for effectively translating his MORE Agenda into massive infrastructure renewal, economic expansion, and impactful social investment programmes across Delta State.
