Ukodhiko Calls for Massive Participation In APC Membership E-Registration Exercise

The Deputy Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Science and Technology, Rep. Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, has called on Nigerians of voting age to participate actively in the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) Party Membership E-Registration Exercise, describing it as a critical step toward strengthening internal democracy and inclusive governance.
In a statement made available to the press, Rep. Ukodhiko emphasized that the e-registration exercise is designed to ensure a credible, transparent, and verifiable membership database for the ruling party nationwide. According to him, the initiative aligns with global best practices in party administration and leverages technology to deepen grassroots participation.
He noted that the exercise is open to all eligible Nigerians who wish to become card-carrying members of the APC, particularly young people and first-time registrants who are eager to contribute to nation-building through active political engagement.
Requirements for Registration Prospective members are required to meet the following criteria:
Must be 18 years and above
Possession of a valid National Identification Number (NIN)
Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC)
An active email account
Details of Local Government Area, Ward, and Polling Unit
Rep. Ukodhiko encouraged party leaders at all levels to mobilize and sensitize constituents to ensure maximum participation, stressing that a robust membership base is vital ahead of future electoral engagements.
He reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening democratic processes within the APC and urged Nigerians not to be left out of the opportunity to formally identify with the party and contribute to its vision for national development.
