Ukodhiko Condoles Delta APC Chairman, Arenyeka, Over Loss of Mother

Rep. Pst. Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, the member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency, has extended heartfelt condolences to the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Delta State Chapter, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, on the passing of his beloved mother, Mrs. Felicia Oritselumewor Arenyeka.

Mrs. Arenyeka, who died peacefully on April 24, 2026, at the age of 91, has been described by her family as a woman whose life was defined by strength, wisdom, compassion, and a deep sense of commitment to both family and community.

In a statement by his media team, Rep. Ukodhiko reflected on the profound nature of such a loss, noting that the demise of a mother leaves a mark that words cannot easily explain. “There are some departures that, no matter the years, still leave a void nothing else can quite fill,” he said.

He observed that while her ninety-one years point to a long life, the true measure of her journey lies in the lives she nurtured and the values she instilled. “A mother’s presence may not always be loud, but it is often the quiet force that holds everything together,” he added.

The lawmaker further noted that such influence does not end with death but continues through generations. “What she gave of herself over the years remains in the character, strength, and unity of the family she raised,” Ukodhiko stated.

Rep. Ukodhiko urged the family to take solace in the remarkable life she lived and the enduring legacy she leaves behind, expressing confidence that her memory would continue to inspire all who knew her.
