The Pharisees Among Us: Refusing to Acknowledge Oborevwori’s Success
By Wilson Junior
In the last three years, the administration of Gov Oborevwori has continued to record remarkable achievements through the implementation of the M.O.R.E Agenda. Across every nook and cranny of Delta State, tangible gains have been made in road infrastructure, bridges, flyovers, healthcare delivery, human capital development, employment generation, and the promotion of peace and security.
Despite these visible accomplishments, there remains a group of critics who seem unwilling to acknowledge the developmental strides of the Oborevwori administration. Rather than commend the progress made, they constantly search for areas where work is yet to be completed in an attempt to discredit the government. These are the individuals many have described as the “Pharisees among us.”
Ironically, these same critics readily applaud developmental projects in other states. They praise the construction of flyovers elsewhere, yet refuse to acknowledge the numerous roads, bridges, and flyovers being executed and completed in Delta State under Gov Oborevwori’s leadership.
Gov Oborevwori has demonstrated uncommon courage and vision by simultaneously embarking on the construction of five flyover projects and achievement that stands as a testament to his commitment to infrastructural development. Yet, those determined to criticize have rarely found it necessary to commend these efforts.
Undeterred by such criticism, Governor Oborevwori has continued to exhibit capacity, focus, and dedication in delivering people-oriented projects that improve the lives of Deltans. His administration remains committed to advancing the M.O.R.E Agenda and ensuring that the dividends of democracy reach every community in the state.
History will always remember leaders by the impact they make, not by the voices of those who refused to acknowledge their achievements. Governor Oborevwori’s growing record of accomplishments speaks for itself and continues to earn the appreciation of well-meaning citizens across Delta State.
