Oyibode Extends Warm Eid-el-Fitr Wishes To Muslim Faithful.
The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, High Chief (Hon.) Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode, JP, FCIA, has extended his heartfelt greetings to the Muslim faithful across Udu Local Government Area and beyond as they join millions of others around the world in celebrating Eid Mubarak.
In a goodwill message released by the Press Unit of the Council, Chief Oyibode described the Eid celebration as a season of spiritual renewal, gratitude, and reaffirmation of the values of love, peace, and unity. He called on residents of all faiths to embrace the spirit of the celebration by promoting harmony, tolerance, and togetherness.
“Eid Mubarak is not just a time of celebration, but a moment of deep reflection and renewed commitment to values that bind us together as one people—regardless of our religious backgrounds,” the Chairman said. “Let us use this opportunity to strengthen the bonds of unity and brotherhood in our communities.”
The Council Boss lauded the Muslim community for their steadfastness in faith and their continued contributions to the peace and development of Udu Local Government Area. He also urged them to keep upholding the virtues of Islam—tolerance, compassion, and generosity—especially at a time when the nation yearns for collective healing and cohesion.
“As our Muslim brothers and sisters observe this sacred period, I wish them a joyful and blessed Eid celebration. May this season usher in peace, happiness, and prosperity for all. Let us join hands to pray for the continued growth and unity of our great country,” he added.
Chief Oyibode further reassured the people of Udu of his administration’s unwavering commitment to inclusive governance, peaceful coexistence, and the promotion of mutual respect among all religious and ethnic groups.
He concluded by once again wishing all Muslim faithful in Udu and across Nigeria a peaceful and Happy Eid Mubarak.
