NYCN Delta Welcomes Oborevwori To Uvwie And Okpe For Landmark Road Projects Flag-Off
The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Delta State Chapter, under the dynamic leadership of Comrade Sagboje Odiri Milton, CLN, has warmly welcomed His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Executive Governor of Delta State, to Uvwie and Okpe Local Government Areas for the groundbreaking and flag-off ceremony of the reconstruction of the dual carriageway with reinforced concrete pavement from Spare Parts Market U-turn, Effurun, to before Omenta Bridge on the Warri–Sapele–Benin Road.
Speaking on behalf of the Delta Youth constituency, Comrade Sagboje Odiri Milton described the project as a monumental step in the right direction, reflecting Governor Oborevwori’s unwavering commitment to durable and people-oriented infrastructure development under the #MOREAgenda.
According to him, the reconstruction of the road will not only ease traffic congestion along the ever-busy corridor but also enhance commercial activities, improve mobility, and strengthen the overall economic life of the region.
He noted that the Governor’s vision for infrastructural advancement continues to rekindle hope among Deltans, particularly the youth, who are optimistic about the ongoing transformation across the state.
“The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Delta State Chapter, proudly identifies with His Excellency’s proactive leadership and developmental drive. This project is yet another testament that Delta is indeed shining under the #MOREAgenda,” Milton stated.
The NYCN Chairman reaffirmed the Council’s total support for the administration’s policies and urged Deltans to continue to cooperate with the Governor as he advances the frontiers of development and inclusive governance.
