NYCN Delta To Pay Condolence Visit To Late Chief Wilfred Ovuorayevbie’s Family
The (NYCN), Delta State Chapter, has announced plans to pay a condolence visit to the family of its late State Patron and Chairman of the , .
According to a statement issued by the State Chairman of NYCN Delta State Chapter, , the delegation will visit the bereaved family on Friday, March 13, 2026, by 1:00 PM.
The statement noted that the delegation will take off from Ekiugbo Junction by the Express in before proceeding to the family of the late elder statesman.
Comrade Milton called on all past State Chairmen of the Council, Council leaders, Heads of Voluntary Youth Organizations (VYOs), State Executive members, Local Government Area Chairmen, and other key stakeholders to make themselves available for the visit.
He also urged Vice-Chairmen from the three senatorial districts to disseminate the information to leaders and stakeholders within their respective zones to ensure broad participation.
The NYCN Chairman described the late Ovuorayevbie as a father, mentor, and pillar of the Council, whose contributions to youth development and leadership in Delta State will always be remembered.
The condolence visit, he said, is aimed at honouring the memory and legacy of the departed leader while standing in solidarity with his family during this period of grief.
Milton further wished all participants a safe journey to and from the condolence visit in Ughelli.
