FEDERAL MEDICAL CENTRE OVWIAN PROUDLY ANNOUNCES THE OVWIAN MEDICAL JOURNAL (OMJ): A CALL FOR MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSIONS.

The Federal Medical Centre, Ovwian is proud to announce the launch of the Ovwian Medical Journal (OMJ), a platform that gives healthcare professionals and researchers the opportunity to share their research and contribute to improving healthcare.

The hospital is inviting healthcare professionals, researchers, clinicians, healthcare educators, trainees, and allied health practitioners to submit manuscripts for publication consideration. As a hospital-based medical and health journal, we publish rigorous, relevant work that advances clinical practice, patient safety, health-service delivery, medical education, and community health.

We welcome manuscripts in, but not limited to: Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Laboratory Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery, Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Pharmacy, Medical Education and Training, Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, Hospital Administration and Health Systems, Mental Health and Rehabilitation, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health, Women Health, Infectious and Non-communicable Diseases, Case Reports and Clinical Audits, Community-based Health Research.

This is more than a call for manuscripts. It shows FMC Ovwian’s commitment to quality healthcare, research, and innovation.

Through the Ovwian Medical Journal, research carried out will gain wider recognition, connecting Udu LGA with Delta State, Nigeria, Africa, and the global medical community.

This is a proud moment for Udu Kingdom, as it is the first official academic journal from any institution in the kingdom. It also shows the growth and progress taking place under the leadership of His Royal Majesty, Engr. Michael Ogheneovo Orugbo, JP, KP, Okporua I, the Ovie of Udu Kingdom.
