Extend Tantita Security Services Pipeline Contract To Entire NNPC Lines In Nigeria — Says Ayoma
The President General of Iwhrekreka Community, Chief (Comr.) James Onovughe, and the Community Spokesman, Multiple Chief Freeborn Ayoma, have jointly appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) to extend the pipeline surveillance contract across the country to Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited.
The duo made the passionate appeal on Monday during a press conference held at Iwhrekreka Community, where they expressed deep appreciation to Tantita Security Services for the employment opportunities offered to indigenes of the community through pipeline surveillance slots.
In recognition of the company’s outstanding performance in curbing crude oil theft and ensuring steady production, the community leaders also declared a public holiday in Iwhrekreka tagged “Appreciating Tantita Security Firm Day.”
Speaking during the event, Chief Freeborn Ayoma commended the efforts of Tantita Security Services, led by High Chief Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo), describing the firm as a key player in the restoration of Nigeria’s oil production capacity. He expressed strong optimism that the NNPC’s daily oil production target of 1.8 million barrels would soon be achieved through Tantita’s sustained and efficient operations.
“Tantita remains the only answer to Nigeria’s oil production challenges. Their dedication and results speak volumes. Those calling for the revocation of Tantita’s contract are enemies of Nigeria’s economy,” Ayoma stated firmly.
He urged the Federal Government to disregard such calls and instead empower Tantita to extend its surveillance operations to all NNPC pipeline networks nationwide to ensure holistic protection of the nation’s oil assets.
Several other community stakeholders also spoke in the same vein, commending Tantita Security Services for restoring peace and boosting community participation in oil asset protection.
The event concluded with songs and prayers of thanksgiving for Tantita Security Services Ltd, marking a new chapter of partnership between the company and the Iwhrekreka community.
