Ejeben Honored with Legend of Niger Delta People Award for Remarkable Contributions to Humanity”

The founder of Wilson Ejeben Foundation, Double Chief Willson Brume Ejeben, added another feather to his crown yesterday, Thursday 14/12/23, as he received the prestigious Legend of Niger Delta award as a result of numerous contributions to humanity at Delta State Capital, Asaba.

While presenting the award to Double Chief Wilson Ejeben who was represented by Chief Obruche Oghenejiru, the director General of the Niger Delta People.com, Ambassador Dr.Jerry Abiri said Double Chief Ejeben was nominated as one of the Legends Of Udu Kingdom from Urhobo Ethnic Nationality in Niger Delta as a result of his humanitarian works. He further stated that the award is to stimulate and appreciate great people who have contributed their bricks to the building of the Niger Delta Nation through the development of their Kingdoms and people, who are shining light to the younger generation and are worthy of emulation.

On his part Chief Obruche Oghenejiru who received the award on behalf of the CEO of Wilson Ejeben Foundation, thanked the organizers for finding Double Chief Ejeben worthy of the prestigious award. He said that the award would further spur the Isio of Udu and Bobaselu of Ugbo Kingdoms to do more for his people.

Other recipients of the award were: High Chief Omoniye Godbless, Chief Nkenchor Chukwueka Okokene, Chief Adams Akpominigbo, Chief Ambassador Obuke Ogbodu, Prof. Sofiri Joab Peterside among others.

Double Chief Wilson Brume Ejeben is a man who indeed distinguished himself in various works of life. He is an illustrious son of Udu of Udu Kingdom whose noble deeds has become a major point of reference across the kingdom. He has made significant impact upon the lives of many individuals through Philanthropy and has not relented in using his personal resources to fund major infrastructural projects across Udu Kingdom and even in other cities where he had lived. He has carried out infrastructural development across several communities and Kingdoms including the renovation/ rehabilitation of the popular Udu bridge, provision of street lights and provision of portable water. He has carried out several road projects around the neighbourhoods where he lived in Ondo and River State. All of these projects were carried out at his own expense. Double Chief Ejeben has some time ago saved the life of a mother of three by sponsoring her mouth Tumour surgery medically known as Ameloblastoma and other remarkable contributions too numerous to mention.
