EA To Oborevwori On Security, Udoka Offers N3 Million Bounty For Information On Jega’s Killers
In a bid to bring justice to the perpetrators of the recent murder of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) N.H. Jega, the Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Security, Udoka Emmanuel Chika-dibie MNSE, has placed a N3 million bounty on anyone with credible information that could lead to the arrest of those responsible.
The tragic incident has left the Delta State Police Command and the entire state in mourning. CSP Jega, a distinguished and courageous officer, was widely known for his experience and professionalism in combating crime. Just last week, he was posted to Agbarho Division in Ughelli North with the specific task of tackling the rise in kidnappings and other serious crimes in the area.
Driven by a passion to protect and serve, CSP Jega worked diligently to curb criminal activities such as armed robbery and kidnapping within his jurisdiction. Unfortunately, while carrying out his duty to secure the lives of residents, he met his untimely death, leaving a void in the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
Expressing his profound sorrow, Chika-dibie extended his deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the late officer. He stressed the need for swift action in apprehending the culprits responsible for this heinous act, emphasizing the N3 million reward for anyone with valuable information leading to their arrest.
“We mourn the loss of a dedicated and highly respected public servant who sacrificed his life for the safety and security of our state. This tragic event serves as a grim reminder of the risks police officers face daily as they work to maintain law and order. We honor the life and service of CSP N.H. Jega, whose commitment to duty reflects great credit on the NPF,” Chika-dibie stated.
The Delta State Government remains committed to ensuring the safety and security of its citizens, and authorities urge anyone with information to come forward as efforts intensify to bring those responsible to justice.
May the soul of CSP N.H. Jega rest in peace.
