Delta Central Young Leaders 2023 Align With Isoko Youth Council For A Young And Youth Friendly Governor For 2023.
As Delta Central Young Leaders 2023 Consult Isoko Youths Ahead Of 2023 Governorship Position*
A formidable Political lobby group known as Delta Central Young Leaders 2023 (DCYL2023), earlier on 13th September, 2021, pays a consultation visit to the Isoko Youth Council at Ozoro in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The group which vision and mission is to form synergy with other ethnic group and senatorial districts for young and youth friendly Governor to Emerge in 2023, was ably led by the Chairman of the group, Hon Isaac Omomedia (JP) and Olorogun Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode (JP) as Director General.
In a speech by Hon. Omomedia, He appreciated the Leadership of the Isoko Youth Council for the opportunity avail Delta Central Young Leaders 2023 to discuss on a common interest that will affect youths of the state in 2023 and beyond if the Youth refuse to speak with one voice and work out a strategy ahead of 2023 for young and intelligent Governor that will be fair and just for all Deltans.
The Director General of the group Olorogun Vincent Oyibode JP, emphasize on Urhobo and Isoko relationship noting that the two ethnic groups are one. Speaking further Olorogun Oyibode, urged the Isoko Youth Council to support Delta Central Governorship aspiration saying on a gentleman agreement that the Governorship seat is been rotated by senatorial districts not ethnicities.
Statement reads: after the Governorship position has gone round the three senatorial districts, it’s equitable, just and Fair for Delta Central to produce the next Governor in 2023 saying Delta Central will not only produce just a Governor but a pan Delta Governor that will be fair and just to all irrespective of your ethnicities or senatorial districts.
Speaking on behalf of the Isoko Youth Council, Chief Amos O Etanuku President General Isoko Youth Council thanked the Delta Central Young Leaders 2023 for the visit and same vain commended their Commitment and dedication on this course noting the group has rekindle his hope for better Delta State of our dreams.
Speaking further Chief Etanuku describe the Isoko Nation as the beautiful pride ahead of 2023. And the Isoko Nation will play the game as such. He reiterated that the Isoko Youth Council will consult with their stake holders and leaders for a favorable response that will be base on equity and justice.
On this part, the president emeritus of Isoko Youth Council Comr Ovie Umuakpor Commended the Delta Central Young Leaders group for this bold step noting that ahead of 2023 Governorship seat the Isoko Nation will not play second fielden but will be at Frontline to negotiate what will be equitable and just for our people He added.
The representatives of the Isoko Youth Council are: Chief Amos O Etanuku (President), Comr Osu Johnny (Vice President), Comr Justice Orobo Asiegbele (secretary), Comr Ovie Umuakpor President Emeritus, Chief fidelis Otomudo amongst others.
