ASIUWHU HONORED FOR EXEMPLARY LEADERSHIP BY ODORUBU FEDERATED COMMUNITY
It was an epoch making ceremony today Sunday 21/04/24 as the Odorubu Federated Community in Patani LGA hosted Chief Godspower Omafuvwe Asiuwhu , Chairman of the State Taskforce on Environment, to a heart warming ceremony, as a token of appreciation for his robust developmental and impactful contributions to the community and her people.
Led by the community’s President General, Comr. Joel Otobore, he praised Chief Asiuwhu’s for exceptional dedication to the community’s development.
Highlighting his remarkable achievements: they lauded Chief Asiuwhu for influencing laudable human & infrastructural developmental projects – construction and completion of Aghogho Road,
Mechanical Desiltation of Toroko Stream,
Influenced political appointments to their sons and daughters through the State Government,
Facilitated the employment of their sons and daughters into the recently concluded recruitment exercise of the State Primary Universal Basic Education Board, State Civil Service employment and others in the pipeline and enhancing cultural and environmental initiatives.
Furthermore, he said, even though, Chief Asiuwhu is not from Odorubu community, but his Philanthropic endeavors has earned him immense respect and admiration.
The ceremony featured Asiuwhu’s citations, cultural displays, and several awards, showcasing Chief Asiuwhu’s political profile and philanthropic spirit.
The community expressed gratitude to the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa & our incumbent Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, for giving Chief Asiuwhu the listening ears that has resulted to this significant impacts that is recorded today.
Thereafter , Chief Asiuwhu, urged them to always pray for the immediate past and present governors for God’s guidance and protection, and support the government of Rt.Hon. Oborevwori and the PDP.
Finally, Chief Asiuwhu was offered prayers of goodwill and urged the government to always give him listening ears.
