APC Assembly Primaries: Ukodhiko Celebrates Onwo, Ashakah, Idhoveh’s Emergence
Member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and APC House of Representatives candidate for the 2027 General Elections, Pastor Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, has congratulated Hon. Ferguson Onwo, Comrade Orobosa Ashakah, and Hon. Lucky Idhoveh on their emergence as All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates for the Delta State House of Assembly ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The trio emerged victorious in the recently concluded APC House of Assembly primary elections, with Ashaka clinching the party’s ticket for Isoko North Constituency, Idhoveh securing the Isoko South Constituency I ticket, while Ferguson Onwo emerged candidate for Isoko South Constituency II.
In a statement issued through his media team, Ukodhiko described their victories as evidence of the confidence and support they enjoy among party leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and members across their constituencies.
The federal lawmaker also commended the leadership and members of the APC in Isoko North and Isoko South Local Government Areas for what he described as the peaceful, transparent, and orderly conduct of the primary elections.
He praised the level of mobilization and participation recorded across the wards, noting that the exercise reflected the growing strength and acceptance of the APC within the constituency.
Ukodhiko, who is Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Science and Technology, attributed the victories recorded by the candidates to the sacrifices and collective efforts of party leaders, stakeholders, and aspirants who placed party unity above personal ambitions.
According to him, the maturity demonstrated by party members throughout the exercise has further strengthened the APC ahead of the 2027 polls.
“I heartily congratulate Hon. Ferguson Onwo, Comrade Orobosa Ashakah and Hon. Lucky Idhoveh on their well-deserved victories. Their emergence is not only a testament to their individual capacities and grassroots acceptance but also a reflection of the confidence reposed in them by our great party and the people,” Ukodhiko said.
He urged the candidates to remain magnanimous in victory by embracing fellow aspirants and supporters in the spirit of reconciliation and unity.
Ukodhiko called on party stakeholders to remain united and focused on delivering victory for the APC in the 2027 general elections, while reaffirming his commitment to the continued growth and success of the party in Delta State through inclusiveness, unity, and purposeful leadership.
