Dr. Sakpra’s presence at the solemn event did not go unnoticed as guests and community leaders commended him for identifying with the people in their moment of grief despite his demanding schedule. His consistent engagement with grassroots stakeholders, many noted, reflects a rare blend of humility, accessibility, and purposeful leadership.
This development comes amid increasing calls from constituents across Udu Kingdom urging Dr. Sakpra to contest the Delta State House of Assembly seat for Udu Constituency in the 2027 general elections. Political observers at the event described the growing support as a testament to his proven track record, having previously served as Chairman of Udu Local Government Council and as a two-time Commissioner in Delta State.
Speaking at the event, several stakeholders emphasized that Sakpra’s political journey has been defined by strategic thinking, administrative competence, and a deep understanding of governance. They noted that his ability to navigate complex political terrains while maintaining strong ties with the grassroots underscores his exceptional political acumen.
According to them, Sakpra represents a bridge between experience and progressive leadership with a reputation for delivering results and fostering unity. His style of politics, they added, is anchored on inclusiveness, consultation, and a clear vision for sustainable development.
Also present at the occasion was Chief Elder Eddie Onosorhue, alongside other dignitaries, who joined in paying their last respects to the deceased and commending Dr. Sakpra’s unwavering commitment to community engagement.
