Aladja Community Laud Oborevwori for Bezi Layout Road Completion, Call For More Development.

Residents of Aladja Community in Udu Local Government Area, Delta State, have expressed profound appreciation to the Delta State Governor, Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for the timely completion of the one kilometre Bezi Layout Road project.

The people, who spoke through community leaders and residents, described the governor as a promise keeper who faithfully fulfilled the assurance he earlier gave to the Secretary to Udu Local Government Council, Hon. Andrew Ekwetafia Gbise JP, on the award and execution of the road.

According to them, the road, which had previously posed serious challenges to motorists and pedestrians, has now transformed the area, bringing lasting relief to residents while significantly boosting commercial, social, and economic activities within the Bezi Layout axis.

They noted that before its reconstruction, the Bezi Layout Road was largely impassable, particularly during the rainy season, thereby hampering transportation, local businesses, and property development. With its completion, movement has become seamless, property values have improved, and economic activities have experienced a noticeable upturn.

The residents also appreciated the Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode JP FCIA, for his pivotal and facilitative role in ensuring that the project was actualised. They described Oyibode as a grassroots-oriented leader whose commitment to infrastructural development continues to positively impact communities across Udu.

The community further commended the synergy between the state and local governments, describing the successful completion of the road as a clear demonstration of responsive, people-centred governance.

While expressing their gratitude, the residents appealed for more developmental projects in Aladja and other parts of Udu Local Government Area, noting like Oliver Twist that the appetite for development grows with visible progress.

They reaffirmed their continued support for the state and local government administrations, stressing that the Bezi Layout Road project has further strengthened public confidence in the leadership and development agenda of the present administration.
