Adjogbe Foundation approves scholarship for BA Linguistics/Urhobo students in DELSU
The Engr. Dr. Samuel Adjogbe Foundation has approved annual tuition fee support to four indigent students studying BA Linguistics/Urhobo in the Department of Languages and Linguistics, Delta State University, Abraka.
The approval is in line with the Foundation’s cardinal objective in supporting the less-privileged in education.
The four students according to the Chairman of the Foundation, Engr Dr Samuel Adjogbe “shall be the topmost or best in their first year of studies to be able to access the scholarship fund”, stating further that “this scholarship would be done on an annual basis”.
The Engr Dr Samuel Adjogbe Foundation’s scholarship is an addition to other existing scholarship schemes for students studying BA Linguistics/Urhobo aimed at rescuing the the language from going into extinction. The others are: Atamu Social Klub, Lagos; Urhobo Progress Union, America; Ukoko R’ Emotor, Delta State University, Abraka; Urhobo Elites, Warri/PortHarcourt; Prof Peter Palmer Ekeh; Olorogun James Amudia Mowoe & Mrs Rhoda Mowoe; Rev Fr Dr Christopher Ekabo Foundation and Urhobo Progress Union Northern California, UPUNC.
