Youth Empowerment Takes Center Stage As Urhobo Youths Visit Senator K. Yohanna
The leadership of the Urhobo Youth Council, led by its President, Ambassador General Peter Aghogho, recently paid a courtesy visit to Senator K. Yohanna, who represents the Adamawa North Senatorial District in the National Assembly and serves as the Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Niger Delta Regional Development.
The visit, which took place at the senator’s office, focused on fostering collaboration between the Urhobo Youth Council and the senator’s office on various initiatives aimed at youth development and national unity.
During the meeting, Ambassador General Peter Aghogho commended Senator Yohanna for his dedication to legislative duties and his efforts in promoting policies that benefit Nigerian youths. He emphasized the importance of inter-regional cooperation and the need for inclusive development that supports young people across the country.
In response, Senator Yohanna welcomed the delegation and expressed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote youth empowerment, education, and economic opportunities. He also addressed the issue of environmental degradation, highlighting the need to regulate oil exploration to minimize its negative effects on the people and the environment in the South-South region.
