In a commendable act of encouragement and motivation, Mr. Etavwiare Ejovwoke, Head of the Agricultural Science Department at Ikweghwu Secondary School, Agbarho, and a renowned Urhobo Professional Orator, rewarded students who arrived at school before 8 a.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024.
Demonstrating his commitment to promoting discipline and punctuality, Mr. Ejovwoke presented cash rewards to the early birds as a gesture of appreciation for their timeliness. The initiative, which came as a pleasant surprise to the students, was met with excitement and gratitude, creating a wave of enthusiasm among the school community.
Speaking on the rationale behind the gesture, Mr. Ejovwoke emphasized the importance of punctuality as a cornerstone of success. “This is not just about arriving on time; it’s about instilling a culture of discipline and dedication among our students,” he remarked.
The students, visibly delighted, expressed their gratitude to the HOD, noting that the reward had inspired them to take punctuality more seriously. Teachers and school administrators also commended Mr. Ejovwoke for his innovative approach to fostering positive behavior among the students.
