On Friday, 400 constituents, aged and people living with disabilities in Isoko, were paid N5,000 monthly stipends for the month of September by the member representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko.
Expressing delight over the continued payment of the monthly stipends, the beneficiaries who were paid at their various Wards, applauded and prayed for the House of Representatives member.
The beneficiaries, full of praises to Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, lauded him for his public-spiritedness and responsiveness to the plights and fears of the people of Isoko he represents at the National Assembly in Abuja.
One of the beneficiaries who spoke to journalists after receiving his September stipend, said, “Rt. Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko is a very good man. He has been very supportive to his own people.
“He has been helping people, and he has helped us more than we had expected. It is our prayer to God Almighty to bless him more so he can do more than what he is presently doing.” Mr Aliboku prayed.
A female beneficiary from Owhelogbo Ward, Mrs Irene said, ”Every month, our House of Representatives member, Hon. Ukodhiko calls out to support us with N5,000. Today, we are here to collect the stipends for the month of September.
“We thank our son and Federal representative, Hon. Pastor Jonathan Ukodhiko for what he has been doing since February this year to alleviate the hardship we are experiencing in the country. And we pray God continues to protect and uplift him more for us.”
