Subi Congratulates Jonathan Goru On DESOPADEC Tenure Extension.

The Ojiyovwi of Udu Kingdom and Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor, Chief Sunday Subi, JP, has congratulated Rt. Hon. Chief Jonathan Goru on the extension of his tenure as Honourable Commissioner representing the people of Udu, Ughelli South, Uvwie, and the Urhobo communities in Warri South Local Government Area on the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC).

Chief Subi described the tenure extension, approved by the Delta State Governor, as a well-deserved recognition of Rt. Hon. Goru’s commitment to effective leadership, quality representation, and dedication to the development of the mandate areas under his watch.

In a statement issued to the press, Chief Subi noted that Chief Goru has continued to distinguish himself through people-oriented programmes, infrastructural development initiatives, and his unwavering passion for the welfare of the people.

According to him, the renewed confidence reposed in Rt. Hon. Goru by the Governor reflects the Commissioner’s impressive performance and his ability to carry the people along in the discharge of his responsibilities.

He commended the Governor for sustaining capable hands in strategic positions, stressing that continuity in leadership would further enhance the delivery of meaningful development projects across the oil-producing communities.

Chief Subi further expressed confidence that Rt. Hon. Goru would use the opportunity of the extended tenure to consolidate on his achievements and attract more dividends of development to Udu, Ughelli South, Uvwie, and Warri South areas.

He prayed for God’s guidance, wisdom, and strength upon the DESOPADEC Commissioner as he continues in service to the people and the state at large.
