Maurice Ojoede Attends Itsekiri Grand Reception as Tinubu, Oborevwori Receive Endorsement
Dr. Maurice Ojoede, Executive Assistant on Political Affairs and Founder of the OMO Foundation, joined prominent political leaders, traditional rulers and stakeholders at a grand reception organised by the Itsekiri Ethnic Nationality Worldwide, where President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori were officially endorsed as the sole All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates for the 2027 presidential and governorship elections respectively.
The colourful gathering, which attracted dignitaries from across Delta State and beyond, served as a strong demonstration of political solidarity and support for the APC-led administration at both the federal and state levels.
A major highlight of the occasion was the conferment of the prestigious Royal Order of the Iwere Kingdom on Governor Oborevwori by the revered monarch, Ogiame Atuwatse III, in recognition of the governor’s leadership qualities, developmental strides, and commitment to peace and unity in the state.
Speaking through their actions and endorsements, leaders of the Itsekiri nation reaffirmed their commitment to peaceful coexistence, unity, and sustained collaboration with the government in advancing the welfare and progress of the people.
The event further underscored the growing political alignment and overwhelming support of the Itsekiri ethnic nationality for the administrations of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori ahead of the 2027 general elections.
