Urhobo Palace Oil, Gas Body Hails Ovie of Mosogar at 74.

Members of the Urhobo Palace Representatives on Oil and Gas have congratulated the Ovie of the great Mosogar Kingdom, HRM Sunny Odogu Okpurhe (Uduaka I), on the occasion of his 74th birth anniversary.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, 24/02/26 on behalf of the group,
the Chairman of the group, Chief Wilson Brume Ejeben described the monarch as a symbol of peace, unity, and progressive leadership whose reign has fostered stability and development within Mosogar Kingdom and Delta State at large.

Ejeben commended the royal father for his calm disposition, wisdom, and fatherly role in promoting harmonious coexistence among his subjects, noting that his leadership has continued to attract growth, respect, and dignity to the kingdom.

He further stated that the monarch’s commitment to peacebuilding and community advancement has made him a rallying point for both traditional and modern governance structures in the area.

The group prayed for God to grant the revered monarch long life, sound health, and continued prosperity as he remains on the ancestral throne of his forefathers.

They also reaffirmed their loyalty and support to the Ovie, pledging to continue working with the palace in advancing development initiatives that will benefit Mosogar Kingdom and the Urhobo nation at large.
