Gbagi Bags Maternal Chieftaincy Title, Now Orugba Of Idjerhe Kingdom
Again, the incoming Governor of Delta State by 2023, Olorogun (Barr.) Kenneth Omemevwa Gbagi has bagged a Chieftaincy title from his maternal place as HRM King Obukohwo Whiskey (JP), Udurhie 1, Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom conferred him Orugba of Idjerhe Kingdom as part of the activities marking the one year anniversary of the enthronement of the King.
The former Minister of State Education was accompany by his wife, Hon. Justice (Mrs.) Sybil Gbagi (JCA) to Idjerhe Kingdom for the conferment of the Chieftaincy title while it was also witnessed by Chief (Barr.) Kingsley Esiso, Delta State PDP Chairman, Hon. Ben Bakpa, member representing Ethiope Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. (Barr.) Halim Agoda, former House Representatives, Chief James Augoye, former Commissioner for Works, Hon. John Nani, Executive Director Finance, DESOPADEC, Royal fathers across the state, Chief Sir & Chief Lady (Mrs.) E.D.O. Obofukoro, Chief Elder & Mrs. Solomon Ala and host of others.
While thanking God for the milestone, the Orugba of Idjerhe Kingdom, Chief Gbagi expressed profound gratitude to his maternal Monarch and Idjerhe people for the honour done him, saying that the honour will poised him to do more for humanity.
