Subi Hails Delta APC Delta Endorsing Oborevwori, Tinubu For 2027, Backs Oyibode For Second Term.

The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Delta State Governor on Political Matters, Chief Sunday Subi, has expressed profound appreciation to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State for passing an explicit vote of confidence on Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, endorsing them as the party’s sole candidates for the 2027 general elections.

Chief Subi who gave the commendation recently in Udu while speaking with newsmen noted that the endorsement of Governor Oborevwori did not come as a surprise to him, stressing that the Governor has demonstrated uncommon leadership through the successful implementation of his MORE Agenda, which has brought massive infrastructural and socioeconomic transformation to the state.

“The Governor has fulfilled his electioneering promises to Deltans. His developmental strides are visible across the state, hence this endorsement is well-deserved,” Subi stated.

Chief Subi, who holds the traditional title of Ojiyowvi of Udu Kingdom, also threw his weight behind the second-term bid of the Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Olorogun(Hon.) Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode JP, FCIA, describing him as a symbol of transparency and grassroots development.

He applauded Oyibode’s peace-building initiatives, which, according to him, have united the people of Udu Kingdom and created a conducive environment for development. He further commended the Council Chairman for turning the Udu Local Government Secretariat into a construction site, reflecting his commitment to good governance and service delivery.

Chief Subi urged Udu residents and Deltans at large to continue supporting the Oborevwori-led administration and other visionary leaders working for the progress and unity of the state.

“With Governor Oborevwori at the state level and Olorogun Oyibode at the local government level, Delta is on a steady path of peace, progress, and prosperity,” he added.
