In a goodwill message issued on Wednesday, August 27, Adjerese emphasized that Delta State is on a progressive trajectory. Since its creation on August 27, 1991, much has been achieved in terms of infrastructural development, economic growth, and sustaining peace and security. Despite the state’s diversities, Delta is progressing and united.

He stated that past leaders, both in military and democratic dispensations, have laid a solid foundation for continued infrastructural and human capital development, as well as sustaining peace and security in the state. He stressed that government is continuity and believes Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration will transcend Deltans’ expectations.

Accordingly, he assured Deltans that under Governor Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E Agenda administration, Delta State is experiencing tremendous progress and transformation in infrastructure, education, health, housing, agriculture, social investments, human capital development, youth empowerment, and women’s empowerment.

On the revitalization of the state’s industrial revolution, Governor Oborevwori has recently engaged several foreign investors to partner in agro-allied resource production in Kwale Industrial Park. The REA Roundtable Engagement and Strategic Meeting have boosted the rural electricity and industrialization sectors.
With his seamless drive and unwavering commitment to the M.O.R.E Agenda mantra, Governor Oborevwori has also met with the Nigerian Ports Authority delegation and Federal Government team to put a strategic framework in place to revive the Koko, Warri, and Sapele Sea Ports for economic and revenue growth, as well as employment opportunities for citizens.

Chief Adjerese commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, for their bold steps in leadership and governance. He noted that both have shown impeccable character, competence, accountability, and ingenious leadership in governing the state on the path of progress and development.

He urged all Deltans, especially residents of the state, to continue promoting peaceful coexistence, oneness, and unity, emphasizing that there’s uniqueness in diversity. He emphasized that Governor Sheriff remains committed to the well-being of the people and building a new Delta State that’s safe, peaceful, and prosperous for all businesses to thrive
