National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Egbema Kingdom, High Chief Promise Lawuru, also known as Ozigizaga, has joined millions of Deltans in celebrating 34 years of co-existence in Delta State. In a heartfelt message, he emphasized the importance of unity and peace among the state’s diverse ethnicities.
In a congratulatory statement personally signed and released to news outlets, Chief Lawuru expressed, “On this special occasion of Delta State’s 34th anniversary, I extend my warmest congratulations to our people. Today is a reminder of our shared journey, unity in diversity, and the resilience that defines us as a people.”
He further urged residents to rise above their differences, stating, “As we celebrate, let us look beyond our differences and embrace peace, unity, and mutual respect. Our strength lies in standing together, working hand in hand to build a Delta State where harmony drives progress and opportunities abound for all.”
Chief Lawuru called on all Deltans to renew their commitment to brotherhood and collaboration, highlighting that fostering understanding and mutual support will yield a stronger, safer, and more prosperous state for both current and future generations.
“May this anniversary inspire us to rededicate ourselves to the ideals of peace, development, and shared growth. Together, we can make Delta State a shining example of unity and progress. Happy 34th Anniversary to our beloved state!”
