Asiuwhu Commends Oborevwori on Second Anniversary, Describes Achievements As Unprecedented

Asaba, Delta State — The Chairman of the Delta State Taskforce on Environment, Olorogun Godspower Omafuvwe Asiuwhu, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on the occasion of his second anniversary in office.

In a statement released to the media in Asaba, Asiuwhu praised Governor Oborevwori’s sterling leadership and described his two years in office as a period marked by unprecedented developmental strides across the state.

“Your Excellency, on this second anniversary of your first term, I extend my sincere congratulations and appreciation for your unwavering leadership and dedication to the people of Delta State,” Asiuwhu said.

He highlighted the Governor’s outstanding performance in critical areas such as road construction and rehabilitation, education, healthcare, environment, infrastructure, economic development, and workers’ welfare.

According to Asiuwhu, “Deltans and residents of the state have witnessed significant progress under your watch. Your vision and commitment have led to the successful completion of major road projects, implementation of new healthcare initiatives, quality educational reforms, and the creation of a serene environment conducive for learning and business.”

He also commended Governor Oborevwori’s inclusive approach to governance, which he said has fostered unity and progress across all 25 local government areas of the state.

“Your ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, navigate complex challenges, and provide visionary leadership has been truly commendable,” he added.

As Chairman of the State Taskforce on Environment, Asiuwhu expressed pride in the support received from the Governor, which, he noted, has enabled the successful enforcement of environmental regulations and improvement in sanitation across the state.

“I am particularly proud to have played a part—through your adequate support—in implementing environmental laws and ensuring compliance across the state,” he stated.

Looking ahead, Asiuwhu reaffirmed his commitment to continue serving under Governor Oborevwori’s administration, contributing to infrastructural development, urban renewal, improved citizens’ welfare, a robust economy, and enhanced educational systems.

“Thank you, Your Excellency, for your continued guidance and vision for Deltans. I remain committed to working diligently alongside you to make Delta State an even better place for all its citizens and residents. Congratulations and Happy Anniversary,” Asiuwhu concluded.
