The Media Director to the Chairman of the Delta State Taskforce on Environment, Hon. Pastor Williams Akpibere, has expressed deep appreciation to family members, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers for the overwhelming show of love and kindness extended to him during his birthday celebration on Tuesday.
In a heartfelt message of gratitude, Pastor Akpibere described his birthday as “a memorable one”, noting that he was astonished by the outpouring of affection, goodwill messages, prayers, and gifts from people across different walks of life.
“I am so bewildered of expression to describe the degree of love in all its components showed me yesterday,” he said. “I couldn’t imagine the arrays of beautiful and sweetest notes of love through your prayers, wishes, calls, gifts, and comments that came from great men and women of your status just for a common man like me. It’s really amazing to the glory of God.”
Pastor Akpibere stated that the celebration has left a lasting impression on his heart, giving him a renewed perspective toward life and purpose.
“Yesterday has come and gone, but its memories and lessons will forever remain in my heart, with a new perception about my life for better today and tomorrow,” he added.
Concluding his message, he prayed for God’s blessings upon everyone who celebrated with him, saying:
“No one expects evil for doing good; therefore, I commend you and pray that it shall be well with all of you in all your endeavours in Jesus Christ’s Name. Amen.”
