Uviejitobor Lauds Oborevwori’s First Year in Office, Celebrates Achievements

Special Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Government Affairs, Hon (Chief) Peter Uviejitobor has scored his Boss high in his one year in office as the Chief Executive Officer of the State.

Hon Uviejitobor who was reacting to the one year anniversary of Rt Hon Oborevwori as Governor, said the former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, has enhanced the trajectory of governance and activities of government in the State.

The two term Lawmaker who represented Udu State Constituency between 2015 to 2023 in the Assembly, stated that Deltans are celebrating one year of progress and renewed hope for accelerated growth and development.

The Special Adviser acknowledged Oborevwori’s strong partnership with critical stakeholders within and outside the state geared towards delivering sustainable development in the state in line with his MORE agenda.

He emphasized that the development has promoted camaraderie among members of his team, the State Legislature as well as those in other arms of government, including the local government councils.

Uviejitobor, a grassroots mobilizer and political strategist, stated further that the MORE mantra of “Meaningful Development, Opportunity for All, Realistic Reforms and Enhanced Peace and Security” of the Governor is on an “Auto Cruise” aimed to speedily advance the state to greater economic and social prosperity.

He described the one year anniversary as celebration of progress, unity of purpose and hard-work, even as he called on Deltans to continually strive for excellence by their support for the Oborevwori’s led state government.

“One year anniversary as Governor of a State is a great milestone. I must take a moment to extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency for his service to Delta State and its people.

“This past one year has been marked by remarkable achievements, and his commitment to delivering on his electioneering promises has been evident.

“On behalf of my family, the people of Udu who I represented in the State Legislature for two tenure of 8 years, friends and political associates, I wish the Governor well as he takes further steps to ensure peace, stability, prosperity, good governance and a healthy socio- economic environment in Delta State”, Uviejitobor stressed.
