UNIBEN NADESSTU Chapter President Leads Delegation on Courtesy Visit to Governor’s SA on Student Affairs

In a remarkable show of appreciation and solidarity, a delegation of the National Association of Delta State Students (NADESSTU), University of Benin Chapter, led by its President, Comrade Ebohon Eyituoyo, paid a courtesy visit to Comrade Umukoro Uzuazomaro, the Special Assistant on Student Affairs to Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori.
The visit, which took place at the SA’s office in Asaba, was aimed at recognizing the unwavering support and impactful contributions of Comrade Uzuazomaro to student welfare and development both within and outside Delta State.
In her remarks, Comrade Eyituoyo expressed profound gratitude to the Governor’s aide for his tireless advocacy and selfless service to the student community. She praised his consistent responsiveness, availability, and passion for student-centered development, describing him as a dependable leader who continues to inspire hope.
She also seized the opportunity to commend the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the unprecedented infrastructural strides achieved in just two years in office. According to her, the massive road construction projects and other people-oriented initiatives across Delta State are testaments to the Governor’s unwavering commitment to building a stronger Delta.
Responding, Comrade Umukoro Uzuazomaro thanked the UNIBEN NADESSTU delegation for the thoughtful visit and expressed delight in their gesture. He charged the student leaders to remain resolute in their academic and leadership journeys while upholding values of integrity, excellence, and progressive advocacy.
He further encouraged them to become active participants in shaping a better society by championing positive change and resisting every form of compromise that undermines their collective struggle as students.
The Special Assistant reiterated his dedication to replicating the visionary and exemplary leadership style of Governor Oborevwori in his dealings with the student body. He appealed for continuous prayers and support for the current administration to succeed in all spheres of governance.
