Ukodhiko Vows Zero Tolerance For Substandard Projects In Isoko Constituency”
Member representing Isoko North/South Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, has said, he would not tolerate shoddy execution of projects in the constituency.
The House of Representatives member gave the warning to contractors, on Saturday, when he paid an unscheduled visit to the one block of six classrooms in Owodokpokpo Grammar School, Owodokpokpo, in Isoko South Local Government Area, a constituency outreach project he facilitated.
Inspecting the project, Hon. Ukodhiko, accompanied by some of his aides, noticed a shoddy work done on the building, the verandas and cracks on the walls of the classrooms.
Expressing displeasure, Hon. Ukodhiko said, such poorly executed work were capable of putting the lives of both the students and staff of the school at risk, and shortchanging his constituency.
The Federal lawmaker called on contactors handling various constituency projects in Isoko North and Isoko South Federal Constituency to always adhere strictly to specifications by doing quality work and warned of using substandard materials and cutting corners to maximize profits at the detriment of the people.
Hon. Ukodhiko reiterated his commitment towards ensuring quality delivery of projects in Isoko saying, he would personally continue to inspect all ongoing constituency projects.
He thanked the people of the community for their peaceful disposition and maintenance of peace and unity in Owodokpokpo and its environs.
The House of Representatives member also inspected solar street lights executed in the community amidst happiness of the people who saw sthe Federal lawmaker paying the unscheduled visit to their community.
