Ukodhiko to Constituents: Expect More Progress as Nigeria Marks 64 Years of Independence

Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, has assured his constituents of more dividends of democracy as the country marks her 64th Independence Anniversary.

The House of Representatives member gave the assurance on Tuesday at Abuja, in a statement commemorating Nigeria’s Independence Anniversary.

Hon. Ukodhiko enjoined Nigerians not to be despaired but be perseverant and optimistic that the country would come out strongly from the present challenges more united and prosperous.

He extolled Nigerians for their uncommon resilience and commitment to nation building, and paid glowing tributes to the nation’s founding fathers for their foresight and vision.

The Isoko Fedaral lawmaker reasoned, “As a nation, I believe, we can develop rapidly when our dynamics are hinged on collectively good interests, by putting the interests of our nation over our narrow interests and personal whims.

“With that, I am confident our nation will be able to compete with other nations, and there will be accelerated development in Nigeria, our country will become a showpiece of what a truly independent nation should be.” He added.

Hon. Ukodhiko said, “On Behalf of my family, I congratulate the good people of Isoko North/South Federal Constituency, Delta State and Nigeria on the occasion of the 64th Independence Anniversary of our dearly beloved country.

“To my dear constituents, as we celebrate this year’s Independence Anniversary, expect more dividends of democracy particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, infrastructure, human capital development, among other benefits of quality representation.” He assured.
