Ukodhiko Invites Constituents To Suggest Beneficiary School For 2025 Classroom Project
Isoko Federal Constituency, June 2025 — Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, the Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, has initiated a participatory approach to selecting the beneficiary school for the 2025 constituency outreach project.
In a recent statement addressed to his constituents, Hon. Ukodhiko acknowledged the annual practice where members of the National Assembly are allocated constituency projects, typically the construction of a block of classrooms with an office to support educational development. He noted that the 2024 project was successfully completed at Owodokpokpor Grammar School in Igbide clan.
To promote inclusivity and ensure that developmental projects are fairly distributed, Hon. Ukodhiko has opened a public call for suggestions. Constituents are invited to recommend community schools within the constituency that are in genuine need of additional classrooms to enhance learning environments.
The selection process will be community-driven, with constituents encouraged to submit their preferred school names via comments on the announcement. The school that receives the highest number of likes in the comments—and is situated in a community that has yet to benefit from any project since the beginning of the current tenure—will be prioritized for the 2025 classroom construction.
This transparent approach aims to empower constituents, promote equitable development, and ensure that the educational needs of all communities within Isoko Federal Constituency are considered.
Hon. Ukodhiko expressed gratitude for the continued participation and engagement of his constituents in the developmental process, reaffirming his commitment to enhancing educational infrastructure across the constituency.
