Ukodhiko Extols Chief Askia Ogieh’s Leadership and Achievements on His Birth Anniversary

Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, has felicitated with the immediate past Managing Director of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, Bashorun Askia Ogieh on his birth anniversary.

The House of Representatives member in a statement on Thursday, hailed Chief Ogieh for his steadfastness and unwavering dedication to the growth and development of Isoko nation and Delta State at large.

Hon. Ukodhiko described Udu of Isoko-land, Chief Askia Ogieh as a financial expert, seasoned administrator, astute public servant and a political titan of no mean repute.

According to him, “my dear leader, to many, you are the generalissimo, an unparalleled grassroot mobilizer and a selfless political leader who cares and has impacted lives positively in Isoko and beyond.

“Your lofty achievements as a former Chairman, Isoko South Local Government Council, Executive Director of Finance, and later Managing Director of DESOPADEC are clear indications of you being a visionary leader and administrator per excellence.

“We are proud of the uncommon feats you have recorded in the nation’s financial sector, politics and public administration.” The Isoko Federal lawmaker added.

Hon. Ukodhiko, who is the Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Science and Technology extolled Chief Askia for his “courage, philanthropy, administrative competence, political sagacity, leadership qualities and significant contributions to the development of Isoko.”
