The House of Representatives member in a statement on Saturday, at his Erawha-Owhe country-home in Isoko North Local Government Area, lauded the Isoko people for their large turn out at the polls.
According to him, “the results of the Delta LGA election here in Isoko North and Isoko South Local Government Areas reflect the wishes of the people and their confidence in the PDP to bring more development and rural empowerment at the grassroots.
“The Isoko electorates have made an informed decision. And I must congratulate the leadership and members of our great party, the People Democratic Party (PDP) for their resilience, support, prayers, and commitment.
“As we celebrate the victories, we give plaudits to the electoral umpire, the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC) for a free and fair conduct of the LGA election in the State.
“The council chairmen are visionaries. Yes, Elder Godwin Ogorugba and Hon Warri Ovuoke have the capacities to deliver on their new assignment and deliver dividends of democracy in line with the MORE Agenda of the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
“As the federal representative, i will work collaboratively with the two Isoko Council chairmen for the sustainable development of Isoko and the empowerment of our people. We return all glory to God almighty for the victories.” Ukodhiko added.
