UKODHIKO CELEBRATES VETERAN JOURNALIST, JOHN ARAKA, ON HIS BIRTHDAY
Rt. (Hon.) (Engr.) (Pastor) Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, Member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has felicitated with the former Editor-in-Chief of the renowned Daily Times newspaper, Chief John Araka, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
In a statement issued by his Media Office, Hon. Ukodhiko described Chief Araka as a journalist of rare integrity and a man whose contributions to the growth and development of the Nigerian media industry remain indelible.
He noted that Chief Araka’s tenure as Editor of Daily Times from 1995 to 1997 was marked by professionalism, courage, and a commitment to truth and fairness qualities that have continued to inspire younger journalists across the nation.
“Chief Araka is a man of distinction whose legacy in journalism speaks volumes. He is a beacon of integrity and an outstanding professional whose works have contributed immensely to national development,” Ukodhiko stated.
“On behalf of my family and the good people of Isoko Federal Constituency, I wish you good health, divine favour, and long life as you celebrate this special day. Congratulations once again, sir,” he added.
