The scheme, which abolishes all fees at the 33 Federal Science and Technical Colleges (FSTCs) nationwide, officially kicks off in August 2025. It offers three-year, hands-on training across sectors such as construction, engineering, hospitality and healthcare, equipping graduates with industry-relevant competencies.
Key Benefits of the TVET Programme
- No Tuition, Accommodation or Meal Costs throughout the full three-year course
- Monthly Stipends to support students’ upkeep
- Industry-Aligned Curriculum for immediate employability or self-employment
- Dual Certification upon graduation: National Technical Certificate & National Business Certificate, plus the National Skills Qualification (NSQ) Level certification with global recognition
- Access to Federal Grants or Loans to launch enterprises post-graduation
“I encourage young people in Isoko North and South to take full advantage of this life-changing opportunity. Whether you aim to work with established firms or set up your own business, the skills you’ll gain are exactly what today’s labour market demands,” Ukodhiko said.
